Sakamoto Ryoma in Fushimi
After visiting Fushimi Inari Shrine, we got on Keihan train at Fushimi Inari Station and took it to Fushimi Momoyama Station.
We visited Teradaya, the former inn and a historic spot where Sakamoto Ryoma,
a famous historical icon at the end of Edo period often stayed at.
Sakamoto Ryoma was attacked by assassins at Teradaya Inn. There remains a bullet hole and a sword cut on the pillars.
There were a small garden beside the inn.Sakamoto Ryoma met his future wife Oryo there.
