From Kurama Temple to Kibune Shrine

From Kurama Temple to Kibune
Shrine, you should take the path in the mountain.
It is called “Kinone-michi” (tree roots road).
It is called “Kinone- michi” because there are tree roots seen on the ground.
We arrived at Kibune Shrine after 40 minutes walk in the mountain. It was very hard to walk the mountain path up and down. We were very tired and felt hungry.
We decided to have lunch at Torii-jaya near the entrance of the shrine before we visit the shrine.

We ate “ayu- chazuke”, which is soy sauce taste stewed ayu(a sweet fish) on rice.
We poured green tea on it, and ate it.
It tasted very good.
After having lunch, we visited Kibune Shrine.

We walked from Kibune Shrine to Kibune-guchi Station for 30 minutes. We took Eiden
train and went back home.

We walked along the Kibune River. There are kawa-doko(temporarily built floors on  the river in summer). We can eat lunch on them.
