Kawadoko(floor on the river) in Takao and Jingo-jiTemple

We went to Takao to have lunch on Kawadoko. Takao is on the mountain in the north part of  Kyoto City. It is famous for utumn leaves, however the green maple leaves in summer are beautiful, too.
   We enjoyed eating Japanese style meal and cool breaze from the river on
Kawadoko, the floor set by the river.

After eating lunch, we went to Jingo-ji Temple. We did Kawarke-nage

(throwing small pottery) to shake off bad luck.

On the way to Jingo Temple, there is a tea shop and we ate kakigori, shave ice after visiting the temple.
