Tofu Restaurant Chikusen is in the yard of
Seiryoji Temple. It takes 15 minutes from Saga Arashiyama Station to the temple. The

Seiryoji Temple was founded in 945.
The temple has many cultural heritages and beautiful gardens.

No.21 Typhoon Damage and Togetsukyo Bridge

No.21 typhoon on September 3 brought a great  damage on Kinki area, especially on
Kansai Air Port and Osaka Prefecture.
I hear that Kansai Air Port will be perfectly
restored on September 21. It is earlier than
we expected and we are relieved to hear that. There still seen damages on looves of
some houses, but people in most of the area have retrieved the usual life.
I saw the news about Togetsukyo Bridge in Arashiyama, Kyoto on TV, that the banister if the bridge fell down because of the strong wind.
I came back to Arashiyama today and went to check Togetsukyo Bridge. The banisters on the left side fell down and haven't restored;however, we can cross the bridge
alright.

The banister of this side is all right.
